WHO IS DANI LOWMAN?
Dani Lowman (born August 10, 1989) is author of two indie novels, scattered truths (veris passim) and Alexithymia. Dani was born the first of three kids to ridiculously talented musician parents, and grew up (halfway) in the glorious state of Maryland, where she started reading and writing as soon as she was able. At age fourteen, her family made the big move over the Mason-Dixon line to Hanover, Pennsylvania.
There she graduated at the top of her class at age sixteen from a private school in Gettysburg. Unsure of what career path to pursue, she dabbled a bit in college, continued writing in her spare time, and after a series of odd jobs, she has settled down as a preschool teacher, molding classes of future visionaries.
Dani's debut novel, scattered truths (veris passim), was the end result of her first time accepting the challenge of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) -- to write 50K words in 30 days -- in November 2010. Her current project, Alexithymia, began with that same challenge in 2012.
Dani is a proud VW Beetle owner, a lover of many nerdy (or is it geeky?) things, and an amateur artist who plays with photography, graphic design and paint on canvas - including painting and designing the cover art for both of her novels. Currently she lives with her family and three dogs in glorious Hanover, Pennsylvania.
